WHAT WE DO:

Make the

invisible, visible.

Most children grow up surrounded by invisible systems - data, energy, infrastructure - but never learn how they work.

This gap is even wider for children from underserved communities, who rarely see themselves reflected in the design or leadership of these systems:

  • 🔌 They use the internet but don’t know what a data centre is.

  • 🚦 They cross streets but don’t know how cities are planned.

  • 💡 They flip switches but don’t know how energy flows.

  • 📱 They rely on technology, but don’t know how systems connect.

Our Approach

  • Traditional STEM education can be too abstract or exclusive.

Infrastructure, planning, and digital systems are rarely introduced early — when curiosity and confidence are still forming.

Neurodivergent and visual learners are especially left out, even though they’re often natural systems thinkers.

As a result, children engage with powerful technologies daily — but without understanding how they work, who designs them, or how their choices flow through those systems.

  • When systems remain invisible, agency disappears — and when agency is missing, responsibility falters.

By helping children see where their data goes, how the internet is built, and how systems interconnect, ThreadPoint nurtures digital awareness, responsibility, and safety — without fear-based teaching.

  • ThreadPoint reimagines invisible systems through storytelling and metaphor, making infrastructure education accessible to all children — including neurodivergent learners.

    Our model combines:

    • Founder-authored, curriculum-aligned books and resources

    • Story-led workshops that make infrastructure tangible and human

    • Narrative design as a tool for systems thinking

    • Early exposure to careers in data, design, and civic technology

We don’t tell children what to think or how to behave online — we help them understand the systems they’re part of, so safer, more responsible engagement can grow naturally.

  • ThreadPoint has been recognised through competitive, invitation-only social impact programmes backed by the Visa Foundation and Pizza Hut Foundation.

Selected from over 175 applicants, we were named one of 40 ventures with clear potential for scale, impact, and long-term sustainability.
