Behind the Cloud: Workshops for Schools.

Bring the digital world to life - safely, simply, and memorably.

Children use technology every day. Very few know where it lives, how it works, or who builds it.

With AI now part of the national curriculum, that gap matters more than ever.

ThreadPoint delivers story-led, hands-on workshops that help pupils explore digital infrastructure — data, storage, energy, and responsibility — in ways they can see, touch, and remember. No screens. No lectures. No prep required from your team.

Every Session Starts With a Story.

At the heart of every ThreadPoint school session is our published children's book, Where the Internet Goes to Sleep.

Written by our founder Willow Williams, the book introduces children to data centres, servers, cooling systems and the people who keep the internet running — through story, imagination and characters they immediately connect with.

It is curriculum-aligned to KS1 and KS2 Computing, printed in OpenDyslexic font for neuroinclusive accessibility, and available on Amazon for schools, libraries and families to purchase independently.

Every school that takes part in a ThreadPoint session receives a copy for their permanent library. Every child takes one home.

The learning does not end when we pack up.
